Global Leadership Programme

Generation.Next: Global Leadership for the 21st Century

This programme, co-hosted by the Faculty and Dale Carnegie Training, consists of training and a competition. Selected participants go on a study tour.

Business Ethics course

This 2-day course, run by Junior Achievement Hong Kong, exposes participants to ethical challenges in the workplace. It consists of case studies, experience sharing and activities led by business executives.

Clinton Global Initiative University

Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) is a community of young leaders who take concrete steps to solve challenges worldwide.

Each year, CGI U hosts a meeting where students, youth organizations, topic experts, and celebrities come together to discuss and develop innovative solutions to pressing global challenges. CGI U 2017 meeting was held at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts from 13 to15 October.

Students interested in attending CGI U can apply either as individuals or in groups with maximum three members each. Please note that applicants are required to make a Commitment to Action.

 

Commitment to Action

A Commitment to Action is a concrete plan that addresses a pressing challenge in one of CGI U's five focus areas: (1) Education, (2) Environment and Climate Change, (3) Peace and Human Rights, (4) Poverty Alleviation, or (5) Public Health.

CGI U is where I find innovation, love and passion. I was impressed by an undergraduate from Tsinghua University and Vanderbilt University who co-founded a social enterprise to promote the use of biodegradable plates made from tree leaves in the North American market, thus empowering women in the developing world.
